I’m Julia Krzykwa Jensen, but everyone calls me Juls. I’m a Copenhagen based fine art photographer whose practice centers on self-portraiture. Drawing on my own experiences with PTSD, my photographs channel personal emotions into visual stories that resonate with broader themes of womanhood, vulnerability, and resilience. I’m Educated at the European Academy of Photography, and with a background in modeling and photo modeling. I aim to bring an acute awareness of presence, gesture, and emotion to my images. With a practice that embraces darkness, mood, and raw honesty, I try to craft photographs that invite viewers to reflect on pain, grief, and the quiet strength that emerges from them.
I’m very active on social media. If you’re instagram person, feel free to join my stories for every day updates, and reels for all behind the scenes. If you prefer YouTube, you can watch all behind the scenes and interract with me during live streams.
